A little bit of winter is back with us here today... we've had two days
of high winds and one of snow. Only about 2" out there, but it's better
than looking at all that mud that's been with us for ages!

The two counties just west of us (and I guess north of us as well,
according to all the cancellations I see crossing my TV screen) )were
hit much harder, as they are closer to the lakes.

I had read that Feb. would be the worst month of the Winter. We're
expecting a Northeaster tomorrow with lots of wind and drifting snow.
Hopefully the wind will blow our snow away as it often does. We always
get less snow than the other side of the street.

Yes, I guess this month will be the worst of the winter, but often February is. Tomorrow is supposed to be warmer again. I cannot believe what the east coast got the other day.

I think we skipped this storm. We really haven't gotten much snow at
all this winter and that's such a nice thing!!!

But I bought a new "snow plow" shovel and want to try it out. We
haven't had enough snow to use it. But...I'm not complaining.

I keep thinking about that too Grace and now I'm wondering if the end of
winter is going to be terrible or what? I'm thrilled it wasnt as bad
as they predicted for lots of reasons!
