I've found a disadvantage to sunshine!

The sun comes through my front room windows at sundown and not for
nothing, but I just Pledge dusted in here Saturday. With the sun
shining through, it looks like there's snow on the end tables!!! This
is nuts!! My dust rag barely had time to dry!! LOL

And I just got through dusting the end tables again! I didn't even make
it to Saturday!! There's no kids in the house. We're not home to make
a big mess!!! This is just so annoying!

You have the same problem that Grace and I have. The house is close to the
street. We get buses, trucks, and hundreds of cars go by everyday and they
stir up all the dust. I dust some pieces everyday. With swiffers even. The
dust just comes back. And the outside of my front windows get dusty. I have
to dust them before I can wash them. It is terrible. In my opinion that is
the problem where you live too.

I didn't think about it but you're probably right! I know when we lived
across from the baseball field the dust from that just blew in all the
time. Now that I think about it, the house was even more dusty but I
cleaned more often then because of the kids and my mother.

Use dryer softener sheets for dusting and see if that cuts down on the
dust. If you have blinds, use the sheets on them too.

That is one of the reasons I bought light furniture. In order to know
if there's dust on the table I have to do the white glove test. Haha
When I was buying a new stove I liked one but the whole top was black.
No good. I bought a different one in order to have the white top.
