What's the last gift you bought to give at a baby shower?

I'm going to one tomorrow and I got a gift certificate from JC Penney's
with a note to the Mom-to-be that she is to spend the money on herself!
We've got such a large family that the baby is going to be taken care of
and that's the truth!

I don't rememer the last gift I bought but it would have been for my niece's
little girl who is now a year old. She had signed up with some stores and I
think I bought off her list.

There are three new babies being born between now and January. My sister
Sue's grand-daughter is expecting next month, making Sue a
great-grandmother, and my brother Jack will be a grandfather for the first
time in Oct. The third is my brother Jim second grandchild due in January.

Better start thinking of gift ideas real soon.

The last shower gift I bought consisted of about 10 small items that
were on the list.

A few days ago I received an invitation to a baby shower for me friend's
dil. She will be having twin girls on Aug. 15. I never bought gifts
for twin before.

Twin girls? Boys? or one of each? I hadn't thought about it, but I haven't either. My sister and brother are twins but other than that I have not been close to anyone that has had twins.

My sister had twins--a boy and a girl. I was about 13 so I'm sure my
mother bought me something to give them. My nephew had a boy and girl
set of twins too. I bought for them but I don't know what. I know I
let them use my kids' Christening gown. We wore the gown part on the
boy and we wore the fancier coat part on the girl. Her mother sewed it
up so it was a solid gown too. They both looked adorable!

Haha I know it's not "me friend's", but my friend's. LOL They are
girls and they're due date is in Sept. but Aug. 15 is the day set for a
C-Section. I hope they can wait that long.

I have cousins that are identical twins.
One has a baby girl and the other is expecting in Dec...........
Maybe she will have twins.
